“The Girl Who Loved To Read” has been very quiet recently. When I look at the date of the last post, I can’t really understand that so long has already passed. Yet, at the same time, the whole world has changed between then and now.
Or at least my world has – I’ve moved to a new country, a new home and started a new job since you last heard from me, and the transition has taken up all of my time and thoughts during the last several weeks.
However now, not only am I still here – I’m even more eager than before to share all the wonderful books in my life with you, gentle reader. My head is full of new ideas and as always, my shelves are full of new adventures!
For now, I will leave you with one of my favourite quotes from my favourite author:
“Everybody has a secret world inside of them. All of the people of the world, I mean everybody. No matter how dull and boring they are on the outside, inside them they’ve all got unimaginable, magnificent, wonderful, stupid, amazing worlds. Not just one world. Hundreds of them. Thousands maybe.”
Sandman, Neil Gaiman
